WMD6C

My D6C also started to run like crazy on playback. It's difficilt to find somebody to repair it. Is it something I can do myself to fix it or is it gone for ever?

By 'run like crazy' do you mean it plays really fast?

Sadly this is a common issue with these & more sadly it's an expensive repair. Your motor control chip has blown & it's a tricky fix to replace it as it sits on the main board. Did you by any chance put a 3v power source into your unit by mistake?

No, I did nothing, it just run like "mad". I have another one also. Can I expect that to happen again if I continue to use it? Is that a weakness og D6C?

Debt is mostly a wrongly polarized net adapter.
Since there is no security diode in the D6C.

The motor control chip is still available in many shops.
but it needs a specialist to insert the SMD chip.
