Hi to everyone,
I hope i can get some messages left for me regarding to the replacement belts for my walkmans.
I have the Sony WM-701S
Sony WM-EX1HG
Sony WM-EX999
The walkmans above needs belts to be replace (they have gone a bit too elastically) but have looked for hours on end on the internet as not sure the size of them but all i know is that they are thin indeed, I have bought a couple but they are too thick.
I value your feedback.
I am a proud owner of a mint Aiwa HS-G09
did you try the sonypartstore.com. they don't have everything but they do have alot. i just bought 5 very small belts for my sony's. wm-10, wm-f10, wm-f70, and 2 others. all are exactly the same part number and size. these belts fit several others also. i would start there if i were you. i don't own any of the players you have mentioned or i could be of more help. anyway,,start there and if no luck try digging into the turntableneedles.com. i have had some good luck finding belts with them too. i use a nice see thru ruler sometimes to measure the demensions both in inches and mm. another way which sometimes works as a last resort is to follow ebay and see if you can find a junker. even though the belt won't be new it may still give you years of use. you will also gain some other spare parts for the future. some day we may all be scrambling for a part which hasn't been made in ages and will have that "no longer made" notation after it. i always try to pick up a cheap parts player for my better walkmans.

Much appreciated for your information as looking at the websites now.
if I am not mistaken you require belts in 0.8mm/0.9mm thickness square cut in cross section approx 70-80mm in diameter.
I have a stock of belts in almost all sizes..a small quantity I have direct access to and the main stock can be accessed around the 15th of August
happy collecting

Hi, I recently opened up my WM-F2 and a large rubber piece came falling out. All the parts of rubber totalled 16cm, and it was 1mm thick.
Does anyone know which band I need? (And how to install it?)
