Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
I've got a new problem with my WM-F200II.
I just replaced the belt on it, and am putting
things back together, when I noticed that the
cassette door will now not close. It appears to
be binding at the battery/hinge side at the rear
of the unit. I've rotated the travel stop hinge
out of the way, so that I know that is not binding. Anyone got some ideas? I've got the service manual for the unit, but I'm not seeing
anything that looks out of place.
Thanks in advance

every time that has happened to me i made the same mistake. i put a screw in that was to long in place of the shorter on that i had used up in the wrong place. whatever the problem i would look long and hard at what is the first spot stopping it. i did the same thing yesterday when i had the wrong screw in the wrong place in my sony wm-3 and the cassette wouldn't sit down quite far enough in. easy fix there and now the door closes snug also.
