I am looking for a service manual for this model. I couldn't find it. It has a problem and I would like to use this machine. It is nmy first Sony Walkman that works.
hi--i don't know that player but most players have a screw on both sides of the playing head. one side is used to change the speed or pitch of the sound. just a little turn changes the speed alot. on the other hand a worn out belt can cause alot of problems one of which is the sound. the sony sports are a pain to work on for me because of all the rubber seals. good luck and hope it needs just the easy adjustment.
