Does anyone know where I can find a 3.5mm headphone socket for an Aiwa CS-J1 walkman. The socket doesn't look like anything out of usual, 3 way, non-switching, with the pins laid out in a zig-zag fashion. If anyone has the name of a supplier in the UK that would be easiest!
Its missing the metal circular ring, that accurately positions the plug on to the contacts. Luckily I can get both channels to work by moving the 'phones plug around a bit, so I can tell there's no problem with the amplifiers. It also needs a new belt (play works but wind in both directions is very slow & intermittent) and some of of the tiny electrolytic caps are leaking, so I thought I would fix it up all at once before putting it all back together.
