I have recently acquired a Sony Walkman WM-F15 in moderately good condition. The radio works perfectly as well as the power source (batteries); what seems to be the problem is the primary purpose of the Walkman which is the cassette player. I insert a cassette and the motor whirs but nothing happens. I am not exactly tech savvy so I would appreciate some help if anyone can offer it.  Thanks.

Mk, and Im assuming that would be rather costly to get fixed since walkmans are virtually obsolete nowadays.

Belts are quite easy to source for this unit and replacing one shouldn't be that difficult...I can email you a service manual copy (pdf) if it'll help you go about dismantling and getting to know your walkman better as you perform the belt replacement (quite a simple procedure...don't worry)...?
