On one of my JX707 (my favorite one) the female navigation voice has quite low volume. Does anybody knows, if it is possible to adjust the volume?
Some people may find this voice annoying, but I like it ;-)

There should not be a need to adjust the Voice Navi volume. If it is low, then there may be a slight short somewhere causing the volume to appear low.

I know it is not adjustable. bad caps?

It is possible there is contamination from leaky bad caps. Of course it could be something as silly as a tiny piece of solder shorting things out as well if the board was recently worked and since started having these issues.

The caps at this device are all new. In fact the volume of the voice is not sooooo quiet. But compared to the music on the tape it has less volume. Furthermore I compared it to another JX707 and on this the voice is louder. Maybe it is only a deviation between different production lots?

How loud are the beeps when tuning up and down the radio? Are they the same volume as the good one?
