DocP, I'm in need of a belt for a model WM-10, the old one is melted so I would also welcome any suggestions for cleaning it's gooey remains out of the player.

Commercial solvent cleaners like GOO GONE or GOO OFF work well. You might want to use a razor blade to gently scrape off the softened gunk

Other solvents include IPA/Isopropyl alcohol and good old 'nail polish remover'/acetone.

No problem with the belt. Shall PM you.
