Belt replacement WM-EX50

Hi all,

 

I’m trying to repair my old WM-EX50 from my childhood. It’s in great condition, except the belt broke. I was able to get a replacement belt, but having a hard time figuring out how to install it (First time I’m taking a Walkman apart) I managed to get the Walkman open and all that, just no sure how the belt goes thru the different gears. I tried to find a service manual or an exploded view of it, but no luck. If someone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

Did you figure out how the belt fits on your EX-50 yet my friend? If not, I can take an internal picture of mine and post it here. I can do it tomorrow if you need it.

Glad you got it up and running. Very nice model the EX50. It was made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Sony corporation.

I am mixing this one up with an EX5. The EX50 has a digital tuner. Glad you got it up and running. Enjoy!

Hy! It´s been a while, but maby you can tell me wich screws to take appart in order?!
