greetings - I am new here and love what I see as I have all kinds of older gear which I love.  Case in point, my favorite walkman just stopped playing!  Easily the best personal tape player I have ever owned, the AIWA TP S30 I have is mint looking just not functioning.  I did not hear a sound nor have I dropped it - it just stopped.  Any thoughts and suggestions are very welcomed.  With thanks in advance.

Do you hear the motor when you put the unit to your ear?  If you do then it's the belt.

thanks agentorange - this is the conclusion I came to as I can indeed hear the motor.  Now to find someone in Seattle who can fix it for I am just not that capable. 

Great. However,the belt chnnge on these is notouriously difficult.
