Just needed new belt and cleaning of pulleys from old belt, capacitors was still test good and didn't leak and walkman was clean overall.

I have a red p02 mark2 wil not power up at all.  Not even with wall charger!  Is there a swich that could be broken in the mechanical when you push play that turns power on?

doc P has belts, but it takes a month.  I just got mine yesterday!  I can sell you the one you need!  I live in Utah!

Wow, thank you so much for this excellent help. I bought a belt for my AIWA LX-80 turntable from my local electronics store that was the same brand, I will try there on Monday.

I also have a HS-P05, HS-P05 MKii, HS-J500, HS-R10, so after I find out how to access the belt I will need belts for those also.

careful,these belts are a little thick! I have thinner ones I get from Doc P, that I was going to send you if you need.  This was just for you to see  a size .  His are perfect but dont come prepacked and labeled!
