How do you engage the play without a cassette installed...i need to clean the moving parts....thanks guys

Hey Reno, is there some kind of switch you can press down to fool the deck into thinking a tape is loaded?

Managed to get some dirt off nak im not sure if the switch is inside or not...i have a feeling its engaged by the hinge on the lefthand side inside the walkman......

good news though i found my battery pack and after a bit of glue im using it on batts.....(had been looking for over a year)

so if the weather is nice son im out with my walkman tomorrow

playing vangellis now....not bad for something made in 81/82 i think
