well, this unit i shot is a very nice one... it runs, but... it doesn`t run with rechargeable batteries... ok, i changed to rechargeable alkalines, but even with those 1,5V it doesn`t run.. it only accepts ordinary one way batteries o.O ... is this normal ? i never had a walkman like this..

The reason it won't work has to do with the positive tab on the battery not being long enough to reach the terminal in the battery compartment. I have a wm-f18 that does the same thing with certain battery brands.

Glad to hear it's working. I have one that I bought brand new and it's still working great! Original belt even!
