I have Sony Walkman WM-7.....

everything is running... every control is working but sound doesn't come out from headphones....

I tried with other headphones too.... but no luck...

can any one give some repair tips....

It could be...

1. dry joint on headphone socket

2. dry joint on volume potentiometer

3. dry joint elsewhere on audio circuit

4. failed DC coupling capacitors

5. failed capacitors elsewhere on audio circuit

6. faulty muting transistor

7. something else even more obscure that the rest above
