Are you selling it or not, or did you get offer more then just let me know?

Put it on eBay. List it properly. Include clear non fuzzy photos. Be accurate and honest. Just don't set the Buy It Now to $800. Unless you fancy lising it AND not selling it.

1000€ for a HS-M2 brandnew, never used in box is okay i think !!!

To much, paid $300 NIB from someone else that collect these about a month, he may have been doing me a favor for helping him get a 701c, but seen these go for no more then $450, but never $1000. If you get it good luck.

Wait!! 1000€ that over $1300 now you are reaching, you will never get that. Didn't you only ask $800 about two months ago, how is it your price goes up, if you couldn't sell it for $800 last time? You figure someone that can't sell it for the high price would drop the price not rise it!! Your price went up by $540 in two months, you are now trying to ripoff people!! I bought my 701t for $1200 which is worth alot more then the unit you are trying to sell and is rare, only 250 ever made!!

Won't sell them, it took over 5 yrs to obtain the 701t and about the same as for the 701s, and why would I pay you $600 to trade? You won't find another 701t for a while they never mass-produce them, only given to certain celebrity names and company officers. The price of $1200 was 5 year ago, now worth alot more, try to find one?

Even the 701s is worth around $500 or more and I was the one that purchase the 701s three months ago for $450 NIB, would have gone for more, but snipped it so I won't start a bid war and the seller only had a few feedback at that time, only reason it didn't go for more.

True!! Unit only worth as much as someone really to pay for it.

My problem is when the seller is willing to let it go for $800 a little less then three months ago, then has some offer, of course he does a counter offer which me and a few other forum members was going to accepted, then blow everyone off, then come back three months with a outrageous price that noone in there right mind would pay. That make him a bad trader.
It the same as a seller whose sell a unit for a certain price and then back out of the deal,

Plus like others said, "Corry" prices set it 50% or more above what someone willing to pay almost anything for it. I think that AIWA maybe worth half that he is asking at tops. When more than 3 bidders willing to pay and push price up then maybe that sets a real price.

Granted none wants to get less then they could have received for there unit. The best way to trade is to set the price high first, then if it doesn't sell then you can always drop the price, not the other way around!! It never works, and makes the seller look very bad.

(there used to be only a mailing-list, still remember tim "jazzrat2000" updating us daily about interesting ripbay-auctions, was it 2002 or 2003 ?).
there has allways been price-pushers and dreamers, sure, they're necessary same way as the "junk"-collectors, because what's the best junk-collector/self-repairer without some solvent lefthanders who talk a lot and pay for the other ones finds ?

moderator, please create a "highly collectible high-price-walkman-club" to give our rich friends some privileged space on their own- maybe to be entered with an entry-fee like a golf-club (E-W-C - Elite-Walkman-Club ?)
