1984, did change the belts resolder the volume control and clean and relubed all moving parts, tested unit works great, selling because have this model in my collection already.

It's interesting that Sony used the WM-10 transport long-after the last WM-30 was in production. It's more interesting that Sony decided to make this a non-colapsable unit too. A bit like giving a helicopter wings because they're cheaper to manufacturer than rotors.
