I had a very unpleasant experience with this seller on a WM-F10 arrived not working including radio in Oct. 08 Sold as working excellent all functions. This seller sells from Germany even though not clear in auction. BEWARE of this seller.
WM-EX5 Ebay
LET EBAY SECURITY DEPT. KNOW, THEY WILL SHUT DOWN HIS ACCT.
LOL. Too late! I bought a Panasonic SX20 from him. Said it was new but it didn't work at all. I emailed him a couple of times but each time he said it was in perfect working order. Let our experiences be a lesson to other people!
how about this:: i bought one,, also bran new and in the box 5-6 weeks ago. it was a usa seller with a 7 day return priveledge. it was really nice and really dead. i returned it and got my money back. is that strange or what ?.....
Glad I didn't win that auction he listed it again, bid a $100 was almost going to bid $200 on it and pass it up due to found a rare JVC CX-R7K rather buy instead.

HEY YOU GUYS LOOK AT HIS ADDRESS IT SAYS EBAYLAND USA, THAT SOUNDS A LITTLE FISHY, I WOULD NOT BUY FROM SOMEONE WITH A MADE UP LOCATION, SOUNDS LIKE HE DOES NOT WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHERE HE'S AT.
He is located in Germany.. and DOUBLE beware he has 6 or 7 walkmans on Ebay right now, one is a DC2 oddly shown wiht a WM-2 holder. His auctions state item is working perfectly..... yet he says No guarantee, no return and no refund.... STAY away from this guy When I received the WM-F10 and contacted him that radio totally no function and tape barely moved unable to listen at all, his first email accused me of lying and told me I had to have certified sony technician verify problem in writing. What a unpleasant jerk. His current auctions.

Is there anyway to retract a bid without any problems bidded on this one and it the same guy just relisted it?

Hi, DEFINITELY do not buy from him as it almost surely will not work perfect or arrive as described and you can NOT return. Unsure if retract bid how effects your ebay acct. best to call them and ask and notify them that he is a problem seller noted on worldwide walkman forum. Should let you out. That is a high price to pay for a boxed but USED WM-EX5 IMO. I have two ,they are nice sounding units and very light.
Going to call Ebay/Paypal customer service number, and show them this thread, to many complains on this guy selling non-working units. Was really hoping to get WM-EX5 in the box, been after this one for a while.
i have started cutting way back on my bidding. in a one month time period i had to return almost 200.00 in really badly misrepresented cassette players. they were obviously not even given a quick 5 minute check. luckily i have at least got most of my money returned but not without alot of hassles. power sellers now think they live on a bridge which is hard to cross. i am starting to check and read closely the feedbacks ,,even the positive ones. i also am bidding only with the occasional seller as i now am having much better luck. i have never in 4 years received so much trash as i have gotten lately.
