The old "can't test as I don't own a cassette" rouse.
Based on this, you should consider this unit 'faulty'.

HE TURNED AIWA ON, THE LIGHT TURNED ON, AND AND....
SAW THE LIGHT TURN ON, AND HE FORGOT TO PRESS
PLAY TO SEE IF THE CASSETTE WHEELS SPIN, HOLD YOUR BREATH EVERYONE ON THIS ONE.

Light coming on was clearly enough to warrant a $125 reserve.

The gold one is nice & the red one is a beaut but sadly the modest silver P-07 commands the big bucks. The word on the street is that it's a 'Back to the Future' thing.
Hey agentorange that one made me laugh.
Whenever I ask a question and I get sorry don’t have tape or I have no batteries, I just avoid it as it smells fishy.

SUPER FISHY
Hello! I`m a new member here and it`s my gold AIWA HS-F07
I actually sold it in JulY and it got lost in the mail(international shipping) i refunded the guy and then luckily received it back. I got $150 for it the first time.
I switched it to an auction.

So, let's get this straight, you're the seller of this item?
Seriously, put a cassette in it, if the lights come on and the tape doesn't turn, which I suspect is the case then you will get a higher price for it if you state this in your description. Reason being that any potential buyer will have a clearer idea of any faults.
Anyone following your numerous attempts to sell it would have first read that the 'lights come on' from your first auction & then 'untested' in the next. So, do the lights no longer come on now? It's clearly fading rapidly, better sell it quick before it rusts away completely.
Also, this is not the walkman from Back to the Future, as clearly stated above, the walkman used was the silver P-07 & not the gold F-07.
So my advice here is that if you do want to benefit from the 'advice of collectors' then you could do a lot worse than apply a bit of honestly to your auction and list correct, known facts.
You may also want to entertain the fact that the 10 or so potential buyers in the world are almost certainly members here.

I did ok. The lights came on and the gears didn't move. I'd say $110 but a walkman that doesn't work is pretty good.
Also, the BTTF walkman is a HS-P02 MKII not a HS-p07 although I own both and I can't find a lick of difference between them other than the model #. Everything else is identical. I'm listing another silver HS-F07 with the same problem, and I'll put the details in the auction.
i would say there are 11 or so potential buyers in the world.....

I don't deal with 'fishy' auctions, so 10.
i think some people just can't quite get the words out...people need practice saying " it is not working at this time. see, it it is just as easy as that...
