It got sniped for way to much ended at $380 never expected that or would have sniped it at $400. For as clean as it was "Mint" I am not shocked.

I don't see this, who sniped what, the JS-500 looks available to me, thought about bidding myself.

This is one of my favourites, I spent every weekend for a month restoring the below unit back to its full glory.

Hi, Cris, what did you have to do? And how did you go about it/materials used? Maybe we could use a WM restoration thread as well...

It was mostly cosmetic, but it needed a new belt plus some adjustments to the auto-reverse. The metal plate on the door had to be removed, straightened and the edges had to be beaten/reformed over a wooden anvil.

I bought a second unit for parts (new lid) but got into it so much that I fixed both of them up. However I just couldn't face changing the belt of the second unit so its sadly in the repair queue.

The transport on these is amazing, but most of all I love the key/switch layout.

I have these too.

But there again, I would.
