Someone is selling 54 new or nearly new faulty walkman. Some are even boxed. I suspect these were shop returns at some point.

That's alot of faulty walkman that probably "just need new belts".

You see these auctions a lot, wonder where they get them from. Sadly this batch is barely worth the current £1 price.

I don't know about that Agent, I see several Sony WM-EX6xx units here. At least I think I do too many stuff there. But it will go for less than nothing if it goes at all.

They'll be from a shop that recently gave up selling cassette walkmen & had some leftover stock.
Don't forget, the cassette took alot longer to fade from the market in some other countries...
