Seller says that they are selling 100 walkman units untested, so you might luck into either a great parts unit or a working gem for $10 if nobody else wants it. Hope you get whichever you are looking for

it seeems like a WONKY deal to me...ask yourself what you would do if you bought a nice collection of players. would you just blow them off for a small fraction of what they would bring if in good working order. i can't imagine doing that can you ?

I agree. Why limit the potential prices that you would get by not giving each a quick functional check before listing them?

It's a little better than a mystery auction since you know what model it is. Hard to avoid the assumption that the seller knows something we don't (IE they're broken), but one can always hope
