I think it is rather expensive, also the shipping!

- 2008-06-09 14:25

Usual story no money.

ao - 2008-06-09 14:35

Ooh yeah, shipping is a tad unreasonable.

Yeah, forget it

Oh, I am pleased, you'll love it Time. These are very robust. The thing to remember with a D6C is that the reason they cost £450 when new was due to the time Sony spent setting these up for pro use before sale. each one was tested throroughly.

The sound will blow you away. The DD9 comes second place to these.

Thanks for the heads up chris i remember i had one of theese about 10 yrs ago i found it in a forest of all places got it repaired and she was beutiful untill i plugged her into the mains something blew, (the wires must have been the wrong way round on the tranny) she never worked again' this time it's batts only but 4 of them damn Smile

walkgirl - 2008-06-10 13:17

4 batteries is normal for older walkmans, I have
lots of walkmans that work on 4 batteries, what
is anoying is walkmans that work on 3 batteries!,
you always have one too many or too little Tap Toes

ao - 2008-06-10 14:04

No, worse is the Aiwas that work with the thinner AAA batts.

- 2008-06-12 08:41

Well im expecting our first negative on ebay as i simply can't afford this walkman, i have offered to pay £10 for his listing fees when i have it lets see what transpires.
