Having bidders on??

He secured that topic himself with the £429 reserve.

And that's despite his 'suspect' circumstances.

For the bennefit of those like me who are confused reading this can you tell us what your point is.

If you feel this seller is more genuine that we give him credit for then please, please give us the benefit of your judgement.

Thanks

What can I say? I'm pleased it worked out for you James & let this be a testiment to the fact that I 'may' have missjudged this seller. However, let it not be said that you did take a chance that a lot of folks wouldn't & probably shouldn't. Having faith in your fellow man should be endorsed but we hear so many stories on this board regarding missing cash, broken rubbish & late deliveries that I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to take this route unless they are 110% certain they know what they're getting into.

All I know is that at the time I made the above warning this seller was less than convincing. We all had our doubts/unanswered questions at the time if you recall, even yourself.

As moderator of the Walkman section I believed it was my duty to do this. If this seller has since come through with the goods then great.

I personally believe we should all apply caution when dealing with 'new' members claiming to have items for sale who then fail to provide additional substance to their claim. Maybe I'm just too cautious.

Beatfunky, if you're out there, please can I appologise for any missrepresentation on my part.

Here below is the History from page 1 to Page 88 ...
No I paid over 660 for a unopened NEW IN BOX WM D6c back when -- and when these came out back when they cost around 450 or so BNIB ,,, flash forward 20 years now -- I Dearly wanted one and was willing at that time to pay 150 percent of the NEW price for that item -- and i did pay that amount and recieved exactly what i desired, when i had the extra $$ back when --- you get the idea ?

THEN presently like in the past month or so another person came about and said that he had some item's Walkman's & BoomBox's & other Electronic Equipment, dearly desired by those willing to live life at the cost of a few dollars spent -- gamble? investment? lottery? Blackjack? Roll-the-dice? Stock-purchase? whatever?

this person was worked over HARD before 1 sale was made, Why I dont know. Lack of Faith perhaps? I have Faith, perserverance, willingness to give anybody a chance. How long into life are you going to be before you buy that item? HUH? me i worry only about Nothing.

So James Contacted this person outside of here and Ebay got some basic information, a 4 megabyte list of pics of current past present inventory, asked for a model of a? he had it , he posted it on ebay i bidded, he closed that auction ( me winner YAAAY!!! ) being a busy person that, he, was, is, and that 'holiday time' of his he sent it to me , I got it, YEAH!

Have I lost Money? Yes. {Here in this transaction with this above mentioned person, No!} Can I make more Money, to cover what James lost in other failed transactions? Yes, legally ( smile ). but that has only been very FEW like maybe about 5 percent or so, so far.

Am I worried, concerned, is this the end of LIFE? No!

Gee i dont know what else to speak of here as i am just, uh tired. ok bedtime.

Simply put I made what I thought was a good deal, based on reccommendation's of other's on here but maybe not nessarrally in this thread, of Exactly which Model to get & James went through with it, with the above mentioned person ( Only James was willing to part with James's $ like my exhaled breath ) it arrive'd a few days ago, James posted a few thousand pic's of it, and a little movie like always....
