The WM-EX909 dual heads is kind of weird, if they designed their transport like this, then the forward play head is not making contact with the pressure pad (which is done on the 4-track head), (although the dual head means that each head have seperate azimuth adjustment screws), just like on a top reel to reel deck Both methods DO NOT SHIFT THE AZIMUTH SINCE THE HEAD NEVER MOVES.
