Interesting how you choose not to mention the cracked main wheel, which we know is something you know a lot about.  In fact, isn't this the very same reason you posted your 'Beware of eBay seller artin179'?  If I remember you accused him of selling DD walkmans without mentioning the cracked main wheel.

Are we therefore to assume your DD has a good mainwheel?

No you don't  !!!  Where does it mention the broken centrewheel?  You mention 'the usual DD running noises' but I don't see any mention of the centrewheel nor do you hint that the 'running noise' is caused by a major fault.  You also describe the walkman as 'fully functional' which must be a lie if the centrewheel is broken, which again you don't mention.

So, kindly tell us where in your description does it mention a broken part?  It sounds to me you're selling a broken item as a fully functional item.

Maybe one of our other German speakers can clarify this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1807...6_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

"The Walkman is fully functional!" I saw this, don't see anywhere you mention crack centerwheel or even hint at it? Anyone that dealt with theses DD series, knows that the centerwheel is more likely going to be cracked, unless someone fixed it!!

The Wheel is broken. A habe this in my discription. "Das Laufwerk macht die DD typischen Geräuache ". Jeder der sich auskennt weiß worum es geht. Diese Walkman werden zu 98% von Sammlern gekauft. Artin verkauft alle DD' s als 100% Funktionsfähig, auch mit Klack Klack und bei fragen antwortet niemals darauf !!! Ich habe i have 100% positive on Ebay !!!!!

Er, no you don't.  Corry, it doesn't say this in your description.

Your description reads....

<< Hello,

offer an excellent noble-sounding Walkman.

The legendary Sony WM-DDII, including original bag!

This Walkman has made history. It is the absolute winner of the magazine "Stereo Play" from 12/85.

Only one unit was the former winner DDII can reach the water. The WM-DD9 also legendary test "Stereoplay" 01/90!

The Walkman is fully functional!

Play coils, all top!

No screws are missing, lid closes properly!

The Walkman sounds fantastic!!

Lightweight, DD usual Läufgeräusche are present, they do not interfere with the enjoyment of music!

On the cover, is a small crack in the plexi, but also interfere at all (please see the picture).

A very nice, fully functional classic that should be in every Walkman collection.

It doesn't mention the clack clack or a broken wheel, honestly, it doesn't.

This wouldn't bother me so much except that you went out of your way last week to badmouth eBay seller artin179 for not mentioning broken wheels in DD auctions and you are doing exactly the same thing here, surely you must admit this is slightly two faced?

retrodos - 2012-01-17 09:18

"DD usual running noises are present, they do not interfere with the enjoyment of music". A good way to word it, but doesn't mention it broken or crack? Someone will buy this and think it in perfect condition, then hear the dreaded, "click of death sound". Plus it get worst once it crack.

corry - 2012-01-17 09:35

Nothing to find "Perfect " !!! In the discription !!!!!!!

Nor does it say anything about a broken wheel.

So Corry, we'll ask you again, where in your description does it mention the broken wheel?  You say above 'Agent Orange, In my discription, i inform about the broken Centerwheel !!!! First read, than answer, please. Thanks'.

It doesn't mention the broken wheel does it Corry?

corry - 2012-01-17 21:37

corry - 2012-01-18 00:59

ao - 2012-01-18 02:41

Well, you still don't mention the broken wheel.

corry - 2012-01-18 02:57

YES !!!!!! I DID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kingrat2010 - 2012-01-18 03:48

you mention a usual klack, klack noise but no broken centerwheel

i know the klack, klack indicates a broken centerwheel but not everybody knows

and the word usual is misleading cause its not meant to made klack, klack
