They fetch around $2400-$3200, going to be hard to get 5k for it, even with the signature, if it even real? Plus has wear, paid alot less for mines in perfect condition, never used. All of them came from etheir a celebrity or officer of the company, so don't really see him getting his asking price in it's condition, if it was brandnew with no wear, it would still take some time. And notice he doesn't really have good pictures of the walkman itseft? If you are going to list something for 5k to a serious collecter, you show back and front and sides of the unit in full detail, especially being its silver plated and oxidized if not cleaned and was touched and used!!

The who released there first album in 1965. Titled my generation. But they were never signed by Sony to the best of my knowledge.

I think you are a little confused corry.

They officially became THE WHO in 1964 and in 1989 they did their 25 Anniversay Tour. They still exist today actually.

IMHO, this is exactly the sort of thing you shouldn't buy from eBay, but from a reputable auction house or dealer with verifiable provenance. It may well be genuine, but for 1,000s I'd need some guarantees, wouldn't you?
