...and I'm sure the seller may have their reasons for setting such a price!

Did it just to test the waters, just to see how many watchers or offers I would get, really don't want to sell it, hence ridiculous price!! As I will more likely never come across a boxed for a while, so took listing down, as in one hour was up to 16 watchers and someone message me offering 1k already but didn't want to actually sell it, so ended the listing.
I believe if I actually let the listing run, I either would have sold it, or gave everyone a good laugh, or both? But will list my unboxed one later at a fair price, and not ridiculous price.

You know what you did also?
You gave an idea to some not very smart sellers, now they will think this could be listed at this price range.

Your right some seller out there will now actually try to get over the top for it and sit on it for a few years, while everyone else sell their at a more reasonable number!! It only worth about about $600-$800 at best. Maybe 5-10 years from now, who knows? But then again someone may find a warehouse of these sealed in the box somewhere and sell them for cheap, only one can hope?
What shock me was the guy that made the offer for 1k? Wasn't expecting that!! Then again probably more likely a scammer, pretty sure he or she would have wanted it sented to some unknown location, way out there, with no way to track it and then put a claim in?

Hello Retrodos,
I noticed you had put on sale this DD9, a second time at a lower price. I asked you on ebay the his serial number, but got no answer. Would you be so kind as to tell me the serial number?
Thank you.

Thank you.
I decided to keep the boxed one and sell mine other one that wasn't in the box, so pulled listing down.

I've only just joined this site.
I'm re-living my adolesence! I was the one who won this. It's as new as can be. The seller said it was his dads. He passed away and the family were going through his belongings. Still had the sticker on the window. Here's some rubbish pics!!!!

I understand, is not easy to separate from DD9. In truth, I asked you the serial number out of curiosity. I'm interested to know which serial numbers are more easily around. If you are so kind as to tell me the serial numbers of all your DD9, I'm grateful.
Thank you.
Didn't see this till late, but it's 950068, trying to figure out the same, wonder if their a revision different?
dottor.walkman - 2012-03-24 23:17
Yes, there are differences, as in all Walkmans, or other apparatus. Over the years, Sony has made changes, whether it be nature electronic or nature mechanical, sometimes it is light and surface modifications, other times more substantial, some of them are a real improvement in terms of performance, other times are worsening, whose only purpose is to save on materials and speed up production. From the serial number, if you know in depth the Walkman in question, you can know in advance the type of specimen Walkman.
