I did not mess anybody around. Slightly disappointed that 007 did not sell it and that he did not let me know in person that he has withdrawn it. Anyway will hunt for another walkman.

I got the exact same walkman you see above for 12 pounds from ebay last month - so if you know what you want and have the patience - you will ALWAYS get what you seek and deserve.

No worries. It is a nice looking walkman. Next on the list is a DD9 or Aiwa 505.

Which AIWA 505? F, J, JL, JX, PL, PX? Some of these are very rare.

dd9 you'll need to sell your mum to afford
they don't "tend" to dip below 150 on ebay
they were never a cheap walkman in the 1st place

D6c or DC2 would be a cheaper alt -

You have good taste, althought the PX505 is one of the rarer AIWA 505 models.

These very rarely come up for sale online and are sought after by collectors.

The AIWA 505 range all suffer from leaky capacitors so be sure you know someone who knows how to repair it or be prepared to get fixing yourself. Fortunately they don't suffer so much from mushy belts like some AIWA models.

It's your lucky day. A rare PX505 has turned up complete with its original case too.

It will however need its capacitors replaced (common issue) hence the low volume noted by the seller, but it seems the logics are fine as too the belt as well.
