If it is showing high, I am not sure why. My domestic shipping is only showing as $5.50

Yeah, it's showing as $39 to ship to France which is about $20 more than it should be.  Shame, it will turn away the majority of any interest.

Thanks for pointing it out. It turns out it was calculating 3 pounds instead of 2 and listed as Priority mail as first option instead of airmail. I couldn't change it as there was already a bid. I ended up relisting it as I want to make it fair for buyers across the pond.

I have bougth wm d6c.I also bought wm ddiii i actually dont know if it was a good deal or not.Yesturday i bougth wm dd9.I,m looking forward to get money to bid on wms i also like aiwa 505 i wish i could afford accuphase amplifier that my father have recomended but it is way ouver my budget, 140000 usdollars it would cost.I know all the good brands but i,m unfortunatelly not rich.

Nope, nothing that clever.  It relies on thumb pressure to apply heads, same as WM8 & WM16.

The tape mech must be nice and complicated in there then...

I prefer this method rather than the the heads and the pinch rollers attached to the door hinging when loading tapes. It makes it simpler because you just load in like on cassette decks.
