I attempted twice to sell this on Ebay and the item was unsold.
What do you think the value is of this 1986 model? It still gets great reception on FM and AM and records well for 25 years old!And is louder and has more full audio then todays mp3 players. Unfortunately I have finally made the move to all digital. I'm sure there still has to be some cassette lovers out there. This needs a new home!

Hi Steve, What was the price you put it on eBay both times it had no buyers? Your pictures are clear and your description detailed enough and you state its working. This model was made in the mid 80's when price became the driving force and lower priced budget models were pushed to increase market penetration. I have generally never seen any of the "budget " models pull very good money when sold. Since I have been off the forum for over year and half and not on eBay much buying my idea of price may not be that accurate.

Hi, although you don't see many of these around, this is sadly a very low range unit. Sony made a lot of 'budget' units around the mid-eighties with a very stripped down feature set plus very basic build. This alas is one of them.
Hate to say it but it's barely worth listing, maybe $20 at best.

agree with ao --they are/were quite common on ebay -
maybe 1 or 2 per month -
i won a few near mint for a surprising low price -
about US$20
--like the recording --good units

I tried $89.95 and then $59.95. Did not know it was one of the "budget" models. I had noticed a WM-F10 go for over $100 and that doesn't even have recording. Oh well for $20 I might as well keep it as you never know when I'll need it again. Thanks for all your help on this forum

The WM-F10 and that series WM-10,20,30,40 are among the smallest Walkman ever made and good sound. The metal bodies Walkman generally are the more valuable/collectable .

Usually the high quality metal made walkmans are more collectable because they have a nicer feel but also high quality plastic can sometimes be collectable depending on the year made in. Early 80's walkman were built the best.
