HI

I am new to the walkman gig but have been picking some up at local yard sales and what not. I picked up this pretty nice KT-4066 and according to the walkman museum its a pretty desirable model. Any ideas of what it is worth? It retailed for $150 new so thats my starting price on ebay. Im open to offers, its item 180929751016 on ebay

I can be reached at ryan08816@gmail.com

I love your honesty.  So you picked it up at a yard sale and now you want to shift it for $150+.  Let's hope one of us collectors can help you line your pockets.

I'm being picky here but you do realize one of the capstains is missing, you know the turny things that make the tapes twizzle?  Now, if it were me, I'd have mentioned that.

What I like most of all is the uncredited description you stole from the Pocketcalculatorshow website, which is, by some bizarre coincidence copyrighted by the very same owner of this forum.  Shhhh, let's hope he doesn't see it huh?

So, please, what else can we possibly do to help you achieve the $150 you think this walkman is worth?

Tsk tsk

AO don't you mean take-up/supply reels and NOT a "capstain" (whatever that is )?

But I agree, someone's got to be be a moron to hand over USD$150 for a not so good example of a KT-4066 to some guy that dug it out of a nickel and dime yard sale.

The price...150 bucks maybe a tad optimistic

Damn, after all these years...........you're looking at a broken man

As I said I am no walkman expert and appreciate the advise, would anyone like to make an offer they feel is reasonable?
