SONY WM-DD33 Blue - SOLD

I'm offering a SONY WM-DD33 Walkman in blue. It's the last member in the famous DD line walkmans. It features a quartz locked disc drive transport system, that assures a super-stable tape speed with a very low W&F.
This walkman does not have many 'modern' features, like autoreverse, logic control, PLL radio, remote, etc.. but it concentrates in the essential: audio quality. Reason why it only has superb mechanics, a good head, a megabass and Dolby.
It has the following features:
- Quartz Locked DD transport (Disc Drive)
- Dolby B Noise reduction
- Normal-CrO2/Metal selector
- Megabass
- Two headphone outputs
- Full metal body in rare and nice deep blue color
- Made in Japan
- Serial no.: 162447
It's a very special model for collectors, very rare to find (specially in full working condition like this).
NOTE: the small dirt in the capstan is actually rest of cleaning paper. I didn't realize it was present when taking photos. It's actually 100% clean.
There's a very small drop of dirt in the head, close (but outside) the active area. It doesn't affect the audio, as it sounds superbly.
STATUS: FULL WORKING: No cracked center gear (not serviced, still uncracked). Plays wonderfully, with powerful and rich sound.
You can hear some (few) noise when adjusting volume (only right channel) and switching Dolby.
Cosmetically the unit is in very good condition, with only a few very small scratches (three in front, one bigger in upper right corner of both front and rear sides). The rear plastic window shows signs of being cleaned with alcohol. I tried to clean with water but no sucess.
Rollers, capstan and head are in excellent condition. They have been carefully cleaned.
For details, see the photos.
INCLUDES: Only the unit with it's case.
Price: 365$ / 275€.
Contact me by private dialog (click my username and then 'Start dialog' on the right area of my user profile) or PM if you are interested. If not sold in next weeks, I'll put it in eBay.
