I purchased this a long time ago from retail dealer.   It is NEW IN THE BOX.  Not a single mark on the player anywhere it is flawless.   Beautiful design with majority of door clear to see all of tape.  The player works and sounds very well except for two issues noted below.

It has Twin rotary volume thus balance left right , Dolby B with indicator light on front, Radio/Tape function switch,Metal/CrO2/Norm switch, Red tape direction indicator arrows lighted, DC 3 volt input ( A/C mains adapter was NOT included with orig. box had to be purchased separately), Uses two AA batteries.  AM/FM Tuner module has FM Tuning AND Stereo red indicators and the radio tunes in tons of stations and very easy to tune to strong signal and it does not drift.   Very good sounding radio one of very best of my 26 Walkman with FM tuner modules.    

   Comes complete with orig. box that is in excellent condition except for the bottom of box due to many years sitting and being moved in retail store warehouse over years.   Headphones sound very good but ear foams were disintegrated in bag when I purchased.  Comes with Cases for Tuner module and Walkman plus a belt clip that attaches to back of Walkman with metal screw, also has a silver woven strap in bag.  Owner manual is included.  Serial number on box and Walkman MATCH !!!    

    THIS IS A VERY HARD TO FIND PLAYER AND NIB.  I doubt another will be found for years to come if at all.    Believe it was sold in 1983.   Walkman has been in my display case for years.  I have taken it out used it on desk once or twice a year to keep belt from deforming.   In past year appears either a ground wire has become loose or a capacitor has gone bad as now there is a low level constant hum in headphones ( ONLY when tape plays)  that does not get louder or softer with adjustment of volume.   The belt has also upon my test now started to slip VERY SLIGHTLY.  There are two video links for you to judge quality of play. Radio works perfect.   Playing rock and roll the wow /flutter is hardly noticeable at all but with classical music such as violin player will need a belt.   All other functions work perfectly including Dolby, Rew/FF, volume is not scratchy when adjusted.  

   The photographs speak clearly about the rare perfect condition of this player with all accessories and box.
