DESCRIPTION: This auction is for a boxed PANASONIC RQ-SX60 in blue color. It's a very nice cassette player with high quality metal exterior and nice finish. This cassette player is something of an oddity for it's style that reminds of the previous "S series" of players with it's nice sliding cassette door that allows for easier access to tape transport but also is very "SX series" like with it's minimalistic look but highly sophisticated functionality. One of the features that set this player apart from the rest is it's winding speed. It is simply blisteringly fast at 40 times the speed of playback. This means it will wind to the next song in just a couple of seconds making it appear as though you are using a CD player rather than a cassette player. Of course, it is operated with the fully-featured remote control with illuminated digital liquid crystal display. The illumination appears to have three colors – blue, green and purple and this makes readability excellent in complete darkness. I always loved the Panasonic remote controls much better than Sony's. The RQ-SX60 belongs to the wonderful trinity, namely the SX55, SX60 and SX75 and is a must for any collection aspiring to include high-end modern cassette player with every imaginable feature.

STATUS: FULLY WORKING. Mechanical operation is quiet and smooth and everything works perfectly. Cosmetic condition is very good and there are no scratches or any kind of damage on the unit or the accessories. I think it is excellent for a used cassette player because there are no serious signs of wear.

Yes, it's a very nice player. The sound quality is excellent even without having and amorphous head or Dolby C.
