DESCRIPTION: This auction is for a used SONY WM-FX55 in black color. It's a very nice cassette player with good quality workmanship and nice finish. The WM-FX55 is an unusual player in that it's electronics are unusually designed. It is fully equipped with an auto-reverse mechanism and an FM/AM digital tuner with digital display. Very nice indeed! This player is considered to have a very nice sound quality with plenty of volume. It is well equipped with modern day features such as sound preset equalizer and even remote control. It would be a nice edition to any collection.

STATUS: PARTIALLY WORKING. Mechanical operation is quiet and smooth and everything works... (FF, REW, radio) except play. Cosmetic condition is good to very good. There are tiny scratches that come from normal use but there are no scratches that are visible on first sight and of course, there are no dents. The remote control has integrated earphones, one of which appears not to be the original Sony earphones. I presume it was replaced by the former owner and as a result, it doesn't sound as good as the original earphone. It is a shame because the WM-FX55 is known to have good sound quality. Despite this, I think it is very good.

any idea why is not playing tapes? i own 3 of this all the same issue
