The 2 volt Aiwa AC mains adapter is something hard to come by.   With those cursed lead acid batteries that now none I know of hold a charge those awesome really grand Aiwa players dont work unless lucky enough to get the clip in holder that uses 2 AAA batteries.  Sadly those clip on holders the plastic was too thin and no bracing so the pressure of spring holding battery in place eventually caused ends to crack and then the wont stay on..  Ihave that player and the radio and tape sound fantastic but like you not battery holder for AAA's.  So only can use with the A/C power adapter.  You are certainly one of few that puts auctions up with really low starting bid.  Am sure you will have several bidders by time auctions end.  Good luck.
