Well, not really.  I'm not going to make changes if not everybody wants the changes.  I don't want YouTube's BoomboxBertie getting his crayons out unnecessarily.

i can't see why we shouldn't ask people who want to sell their stuff here to add pics (or a video, or both), a short description of the unit and a price.

also i can't see why we should let people advertise their ebay stuff for free. what's so terribly wrong in asking members who are also on the bay to give other members first choice, for instance by putting their sale ads here one week before the item goes to ebay?

prospective buyers would get premières and better prices --closer to those on the off-line market--, sellers would get their advertisement anyway (for their ebay shop, and for the item itself, in case they don't sell it here), and possibly inflation of prices would be kept under minimum control.

how these two modest proposals can possibly harm anybody but sharks and speculators is beyond my understanding. but i am ready to acknowledge my limitations and prejudices on this subject
