Audio-technica AT727 Sound burger (turntable walkman)
walkman.archive - 2013-09-27 04:47
Hi,
I have a beautiful red sound burger for sell. It's brand new, boxed and never used.
DESCRIPTION: This auction is for a brand new Audio Technica AT727, aka Sound Burger. This is one of the very few portable turntables, and probably one of the coolest ever done.
It has the following features:
- 33 & 45 rpm
- AT103 cartridge included
- Can be operated with batteries and power supply
- Dual headphone output
- Line output (no need for a special phono amp).
- Headphones supplied in deep blue color
- Dual RCA cable included.
- Very compact
- Operation LED
It's a truly museum piece for collectors. This model is almost impossible to find, even more in this condition...
STATUS: FULLY WORKING. I noticed very low speed of the disc, but after replacing the internal belt, now it works perfectly. I tested with power supply and it works perfectly, and it sounds wonderfully both with line out and headphones.
For details, see the photos.
INCLUDES: Everything that original box contains: the unit, original, sealed batteries (probably not working), earphones and user manual.
PAYMENT: Bank transfer, PayPal (a few fees will be added with this option). Also you can pay it here if you come to get it.
Price: 495 euros / 669$
Contact me by PM or email (see how in my website)

Oh, I forget to add a short video where you can see it working:
Audio is recorded directly through the Line-out. You can see it in HD.

That buger thing is really cool, but it is playing the record too fast. Is there a way to slow it down? Ray Parker Jr. on helium. Nice choice of tunes for this up and coming Halloween season!
walkman.archive - 2013-10-01 12:48
Yes, it's playing a bit fast. I'll try to adjust the speed as I found two adjustable knobs inside it.
Ghostbuster is for me a never old song. I think time passes but this song is always nice and doesn't get old at all!

adjusted. it has two hidden screws in the back which allows speed adjustment

Hi Hugo! Do you still have the silver Sound Burger for sale?
walkman.archive - 2015-01-14 04:15
Hi Tero,
No, unfortunately a collector in the UK bought it recently.
However, I still have another in silver finish. Contact me directly and we can talk:
