looking for either of the above walkmans. want it to replace my latest ipod that broke so must be in full working order. would be very grateful if anyone has one to sell.

any other similar metal cased walkman would also do, basically i just something to listen to my tapes on that has high quality sound and is small/sturdy. thanks all.

Just read your post. A DD9 just sold 3 hours ago on Ebay. I was second highest bidder with my bid in at 3 seconds but someone wanted it more than I did proxy out bid me. Was a good find with good center gear. I bid $107.55 EUR. Expensive and I was stretching to offer that high but willing to have it sit next to my DC2. Be very interesting to side by side compare. Guess I shall be happy and feel lucky enough to have a perfect DC2.
Keep looking they come up several times a year it seems but no bargain prices.

damn.. ive been checking ebay like every other day for a dd9 and f702.. how did i miss this

My DD9 as seen in my avatar cost £20! But this was because the listing was poor for what is a bit of a grail for most collectors. Also the photo was rubbish as well...you could only just tell it was a DD9...so look at EVERY sony walkman going. The model number was NOT in the auction I won, so it was also invisible, very easy to miss...

I got my mint dd9 for €50,-, is was bad listed also and
in a foreign language

So nobody but me could find it on the internet

i have 3 dd9's
20, 50 and a prefect one for 60 euro.
i must admit, the dd9 wasn't popular in those years.

I got mine from Litfan as part exchange for an Aiwa 959.

It's still the only walkman I'd bother listening to.

okay, so theres one going on ebay.. and someones made an offer or £165... and the guy said maybe.. is that hugely over the top or actually how much they go for?
