Yep, it was the HS-P07. I've got one, thanks to Agent. Might sell it for the right price, as I may not be giving it the attention it deserves these days.

Marty’s Aiwa Cassette Player by bluxed on December 22, 2008 Everything you wanted to know about the Aiwa cassette player worn by Marty McFly in Back to the Future The AIWA tape player model used is model number HS-PO2MK II made in 1984.

The model is available in a red Body and a Silver Body. The silver one was used in the movie. Also the words Stereo is printed in a blue color.

Other similar models to Marty’s Tape Player include:
Aiwa HS-F07 (Silver) (The word STEREO REC is printed in red color) (1984)
Aiwa HS-F07 (Black) (The word STEREO REC is printed in red color) (1984)
Aiwa HS-P07 (Silver) (The word STEREO is printed in blue color) (1985) (very similar to HS-P02 Mk II and commonly mistaken for Marty’s model.)
