I have recently got a beautiful sanyo es-p7. Problem is, i don't have the remote. It cannot be used without it, similar to a sharp jc-k99.
I could always sell the unit, but i always wanted one of these. They are very scarce these days. If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks.

Ah, here it is, mine came with a non-correct but strangely functioning DC player remote. I still have these somewhere.
Yeah, that`s right. The remote that came with it, a piece was broken off, so, i chucked it, then got the other one.
The original, was no longer available. That one, was down as the replacement.

So i've just received this es-p7 today. First time i ever seen one. They really are pretty units. Like no other cassette player i have ever seen. This one is green. Is this colour unusual? Really love to give it a bash, but no remote. Came with battery and charger. I think the battery is fine. I opened the back to have a peek. Everything nice and clean, belt good and tight. I can see no reason as to why it will not work. Just have to keep my eyes open for remote.
I have this walkman complete with the remote. I would be willing to loan it to you to try out your walkman but,unfortunately you cannot keep it as i need it myself!

Your offer is most kind my friend. But to be honest, I would be fearful it would get lost in transit. Your Sanyo would be useless then. Hopefully one will come up somewhere soon. But again, thank you for the very kind offer.

Not cheap, but 'tis the price you pay for exclusivity! 
I have tried here before. They no longer stock the remote I'm afraid.
