Hi folks, new to list!

In a sudden nostalgia attack today sparked by something on Wired.com, I've spent last hour at work looking to find details of my favourite walkman (yes, a Christmas 1986 gift too!). It was a black metal beauty, killer 5-band EQ (all ipods should have little nubby EQs), and a finicky remote / clunky automatic buttons. Aaah.

Turns out it was an Aiwa HS-G08.

Thanks for the comments & sadly these are all very rare these days, which is a shame as these are some of the nicest units around. In my view the HS-G08 is the ultimate Aiwa, perfect looks & functionality to die for. Aiwa Peaked at this point in my view.

Absolutely, the HS-GO8 would be the crown of my collection if i could get hold of one
