My trusty light blue Sony (sound of doom! early 90's?) gave up last year.

Replaced it with this fancy looking early 2000's Sony with "speed control" which has since decided it'll play C90 tapes at a slurrrr. Gahh! Help!

There are NO tape walkmans for sale here. Oh, except those horrific shonky new plastic sony's for 3,000 yen. Shameful. The demise of the tape walkmans quality only too graphically mirrors its homeland.
