You may have to buy one attached to a Walkman! I guess if there's any good news, it's that the AA battery holder is at least more common than the gumstick one (which is what I'm on the hunt for). As another board member pointed out, they're unfortunately a little on the fragile side, with those tiny little plastic "feet" that latch into the body of the Walkman. I don't know for sure, but it looks to me as though the battery cases were shared between several models, so you might run into something compatible (and cheap) on ebay.

Yeah, the only one's I've found are attached to Walkmans. I keep seeing auctions where the battery pack is missing and the seller says they're really easy to find online, not exactly sure where they're looking.
