I have an M-50, but this is a player only it does not record.

Here's a picture of all my stereo players/recorders.
Sony M-1000, Olympus SR 11, Sony M-1PD, Sony M-50 and a Olympus SW 77.



The best quality recorder of these is the Olympus SW 77 with the Sony M-1000 a close second, the Sony M-1PD and the Olympus SR 11 are not very good when compared to these.

Found myself a very nice M-1PD with box and accessories with all functions working properly. Does anyone know where I could find some blank Metal Microcassettes?

Glad to see found a stereo recorder.
I've been looking for blank metal microcassettes for over 5 years and have found none. The only one I have is an Olympus demo tape.

I was thinking of splicing some metal tape from a Cassette onto a normal MC-60 Microcassette that I have.

I've had a good look at the Micro Cassette and it is a sealed unit, no screws so I cannot open it up without breaking it.

Does anyone have any Metal Micro Cassette's that they would be willing to sell? Maybe even just one?

Just had a look at some Olympus XB60 microcassettes and these are not clued just snapped together and come apart quite easily.

I'm sure someone has a sealed Metal Micro Cassette lying around looking for a new home. I only need one, it would be going to a good home where it would be in the company of a couple of Micro Cassette Walkman's...............
