You will find a mint boxed one for sale on ebay Germany. Quite expensive though.

But you're right, price is a little steep..

I finally decided I want to buy it.

But it doesn't offer shipping to Singapore which is where I live. I contacted the seller about this and asked if he would make an exception, but so far no response. And I don't know any friends in Europe who can act as a middleman.

I haven't as yet figured out why some people won't ship internationally, or to certain countries. Surely the risk lays with the buyer and not the seller. That's why there's shipping insurance!

Perhaps someone on S2G would be kind enough to help, for a fee of course. I would gladly help but unfortunately live in South Africa. I once had a person on eBay from the U.S.A sell me an item and then change his mind not to ship to South Africa after agreeing that it would be ok. I had to go to great lengths to find another person who I successfully bought from on eBay, who also lived in the U.S.A., to buy it and then send it on to me. It worked and it was worth the effort. At least there was no language barrier to content with, although a bit risky!

Agreed, but only because they mean so much to us.

I guess the seller just does'nt want to chance any postage problems by shipping to an unfamiliar place, especially with his near perfect record. It's understandable but frustrating for me.

Have you translated your message to German? Maybe the seller cannot understand your message. He has that unit for sale for some time now. I would be suprised if he would not ship internationally.

Glad i could be of help. Post a few pictures when you receive the unit. It may require a new belt, which is easy to replace on this unit. I have one myself which i got from DrMR2000. You will be very happy when you receive it. They are really beautiful units. Best of luck with it!
