Hello Derek! I have seen that one but thank you for replying. The problem is the seller doesn't accept paypal at all and since i live in Croatia, banks charge minimum 30 Euro for any kind of bank transfer. So even if I win the walkman for 1 Euro, it will cost me at least 30 more to transfer the money. The walkman will go much higher than that and then there's the shipping...
I have to admit, I too was tempted to bid on that one. But the lack PayPal also put me off bidding on it as well. My bank would also charge a similar amount to you as well.
Serves the seller right then. It will go for a low price and he won't get what he thought he would. I just don't understand why some people limit their possibilities by not accepting paypal as a safe and easy way to transfer money. Mistly everyone has internet and people even pay bills online so this is really something for the sociologists to study.
