$29 Emerson(?) personal stereo! 1982
Anyone have info on this early entry level walkman? Silver and blue. It was my first. Listened to it on my hour long bus rides to and from college. My dad bought two, for my sister and myself as a gift. I never forgot; some S.O.B. janitor at the college stole it out of a storage locker.

Here is a discription: 1982-Christmas. Silver plastic w/ blue label. Off brand like Emerson, JC Penny, GE, RCA, or Lloyds. Price $20-$50, a budget model. Very small tape window if any, the silver cassette door had a tab on the side to lift it open. I think there was an Eject button BUT, there was NO REVERSE button. Took 2xAA. Not a big unit but not super small either. No radio. Had a one piece belt clip on the back. Head set was very plain and had blue foam.
