Anyone in Europe recall this?

A fellow in the UK named Ian emailed and ask for help to identify a personal stereo he had when he was young.  Do any of you have ideas?
"I've been trying to find a picture of an old walkman I used to have circa 1989. I can't remember the brand name but it was very distinctive in that it was a big and bulky triangular shape with rounded edges. The top part was where the cassette went and the lower part had a very poor quality speaker which would play when you removed the headphones. The top half was bright yellow, and the bottom part which contained the 'speaker' was grey.

Something in the dark recesses of my mind tells me it might have been called 'sport' which was in luminous pink writing. They were all the rage in the UK for a short while. In retrospect, it was quite hideous!"

Thanks isolator--that looks exactly like the one he is describing!

I wonder what made them choose the triangle shape?  It really is a peculiar little stereo.

Philips got massively carried away with 80s "styling" with some .... ah... interesting results. Moving Sound Roller, anyone?

Nicolle:

"Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" was a classic UK comedy/drama

...only 3 of 'em were geordies. There was also a brummie, a Londoner, a scouser and a west-coutry lad. Which I'm sure makes loads of sense to someone not from England, so I'll shut up now...
