Walkman WM-F10/F20 wanted

Basically I'm one of those strange, weird, odd, peculiar children who would rather walk around with a cassette player and listen to the radio or a cassette even though I've got a mobile phone/cell phone which can play the same songs and the radio with better quality.
I'll be honest, I've picked that model because I like the look of it. But I've done a little research, I know that it'll be better value for money, it uses less batteries than the older models, even though it still is an old one. I also know the F20 is more sturdy.
I must say my budget isn't extremely high, but I'm on the hunt for a job which may take it up a notch. I'm sure you're all lovely people but I'm going to have to decline anyone offering on here, my only way of buying would be a relatives paypal and they don't trust people easily, they'll use ebay and that's it really. So if anyone spots one on ebay (preferably european since I've seen one which had postage higher than the actual item from America. It was around $40 or something for postage. Now I know they're heavy but they can't cost that much!)
I've seen someone ask about this and someone found one in germany and one in france.
One thing that is an absolute must is that it fully works and is complete. I don't mind the odd scratch but I don't want to buy it to find that I can't play a cassette with it! (Current predicament with mine, don't know anywhere that would repair it and wouldn't cost the earth!) I know some people go to the effort of replacing parts to make it work before they sell it, well that would be my ideal seller!
On the plus side I like the red/silver one which are more common than the blue I believe.

If you don't mind black.....and have a DEEP wallet
Or..something a "little" easier to take

Saw them earlier, I'm hoping no one will bid and over time their price will go down... It's quite amazing what people expect for these when they've got the original packaging! That second one is partly broken and they still want that much!

Unfortunately true....the market seems WAY out of whack for personal audio. Good luck with the hunt PeculiarChild...

People just get crazy and go over the top on these, sold one out of the box recently for $152 and that was auction not even a "BIN", wasn't even expecting over $100 for it, but mines was working and installed a brandnew belt.
As far as the $350 price, won't bother let that seller sit on it for years, I am receiving a couple of f10II black, WM-F10 red and red/blue WM-10 in a couple of days, let me see what condition it come in first and may let it go for $100 with new belt, as seller said they didn't work, so hope it just a belt? But he doesn't even try to fix them and normally get good condition ones from him.
Pretty much do a full restoration including replacing components as needed on every vintage electronics I sell with 14 day return policy, which almost no seller offer. I have 100 percent feedback. Price on some stuff may seem high, but not over the top compare to other sellers and do restore them, unlike most.

It's quite over my budget but I am job hunting so depending on how long it'll be before you sell it I may be able to buy it
